About Baja

Baja Beach was founded in 1994 as a tanning salon with only 4 beds. The company expanded over the past 30 years and has maintained 4 staple locations in Berks County, PA.

Bridget Holleran Coe began working for Baja Beach at 16 years old. She joined the ownership team in 2016 and purchased the entire company in October, 2020.

 

Since then, Baja Beach has been 100% female owned and almost entirely female operated. 

​

Bridget's mission is that each guest leaves Baja Beach feeling better then when they walked through the door. After working in the salons for for almost 20 years, Bridget has strived to develop a team that will give guests an exceptional wellness experience with every visit. 

In 2023, the Baja Team began to develop a Wellness Expansion plan, giving guests a variety of new equipment to help them look and feel their best.
